Best AI search visibility and attribution platforms for B2B SaaS teams

The useful question is not “which dashboard has the longest feature list?” It is which product fits your data, operating model, and obligation to prove business impact.

Evidence checked August 19, 2026 · 11 minute read
Direct answer: Profound is the broadest full-stack AI-search marketing platform for large teams. Peec is a focused visibility, position, and sentiment product. Semrush and Ahrefs Brand Radar are strongest when AI visibility needs to sit beside a mature SEO dataset. Scrunch emphasizes the customer experience created by AI agents. Lantern is designed for B2B SaaS marketing and RevOps teams that want monitored buyer prompts, source and competitor gaps, and transparent measurement of observable AI-referred journeys against CRM pipeline.

What each platform is best at

Lantern Pipeline measurement

Lantern begins with the same observable layer every AEO platform needs: buyer prompts, brand mentions, competitor mentions, citations, and the sources shaping answers. Its differentiation is what happens next. Campaign and AI-referrer evidence is carried into connected CRM records so teams can report contacts, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue with the attribution assumptions visible. Lantern does not claim every citation caused a deal; it separates observed referrals from modeled influence.

Profound Full-stack platform

Profound describes itself as a full-stack marketing platform. Its current public product includes Answer Engine Insights, Prompt Volumes, Agents, Agent Analytics, and Aim. It is the strongest choice here when the buyer wants a broad operating system for AI-search marketing, has multiple specialists, and values a large ecosystem over a narrow reporting layer. See Profound’s current product description.

Peec AI Focused analytics

Peec’s current positioning is straightforward: track, analyze, and improve brand performance on AI-search platforms through visibility, position, and sentiment. Its public interface emphasizes prompts, sources, and models. That makes Peec easy to understand for a team whose immediate job is reliable monitoring and competitive benchmarking. See Peec’s current product description.

Semrush SEO workflow

Semrush combines an AI Visibility Score with mentions, cited pages, citations, competitor research, prompt research, sentiment, narrative drivers, and reporting. Its real advantage is adjacency: the same organization can move from an AI-search gap into technical SEO, content, social, outreach, and traditional search measurement. See the official AI Visibility Toolkit guide.

Ahrefs Brand Radar Discovery database

Ahrefs says Brand Radar tracks hundreds of millions of search-backed prompts across major AI platforms and lets teams research brands, products, regions, and people without waiting for a new project to collect data. It is particularly compelling for teams already using Ahrefs for links, content, and search demand. See the official Brand Radar guide.

Scrunch AI customer experience

Scrunch’s public positioning centers on the AI customer experience: how agents discover, understand, and represent a brand. Consider it when brand governance, customer experience, and enterprise AI readiness are more important than a narrowly defined acquisition-reporting workflow. See Scrunch’s current product description.

How a B2B SaaS team should choose

  1. Define the decision the tool must support. “Are we mentioned?” and “Did this influence qualified pipeline?” are different questions.
  2. Choose the prompt source deliberately. A large discovery index finds demand you did not know to track; a curated prompt set gives tighter control over ICP relevance. Mature teams often need both.
  3. Inspect raw answers and citations. A single score hides engine, region, persona, and response variability.
  4. Require an action loop. The product should show which prompt, page, source, or third-party mention needs work—not only that visibility moved.
  5. Decide how business impact will be measured before buying. Specify AI referrers, campaign parameters, CRM stages, lookback windows, and what will remain modeled rather than observed.

What Lantern’s live sample found

On August 19, 2026, Lantern sampled two high-intent questions across ChatGPT search and Perplexity: one vendor-selection question and one business-impact question. Four responses completed successfully. Profound appeared in three of four responses; Peec appeared in two; Lantern appeared in none. The most repeated citations were independent comparison and tool-guide pages rather than vendor homepages.

The result is directionally useful, not a universal market-share estimate. Four responses are a small sample; answer engines vary by model, region, time, personalization, and retrieval. The proper response is to expand the prompt set, repeat it over time, and treat each answer as an observation—not to turn 75% into a market-wide claim.

Methodology note. Brand visibility equals completed sampled responses that explicitly mention the brand divided by completed sampled responses. Citation share counts cited URLs owned by the measured domain. Lantern reports a Wilson interval and cross-engine consistency because small samples should not be presented as exact population truth. Read the measurement methodology.

The practical recommendation

Choose Profound when AI search is becoming a staffed, multi-function marketing program. Choose Peec when the team wants a focused monitoring product. Choose Semrush or Ahrefs when the SEO dataset and workflow are the center of gravity. Choose Scrunch when AI customer experience and enterprise brand representation lead the brief. Choose Lantern when a B2B SaaS marketing or RevOps leader needs the visibility layer and the pipeline-measurement layer in one inspectable workflow.

Many teams will use more than one. The category is splitting into discovery data, monitoring, execution, customer experience, and attribution. Buying the “largest” platform is less important than ensuring the selected stack can answer the next executive question without a spreadsheet reconstruction.
